Our Founder.
Dawn Choy is the Founder and Principal of Dreamkids Kindergarten, an early childhood educator with over 20 years of experience, and a passionate advocate for principles-based, inquiry-led learning. Her work spans Singapore, Finland, and China, shaping a global, values-driven approach to early years education that nurtures confident, curious, and courageous learners.
Dawn holds a Master of Early Childhood Education (SUSS, in progress), Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy, together with a Diploma in Early Childhood (Teaching), a Diploma in Early Childhood (Leadership) and Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY). These professional qualifications inform her holistic, research-aligned approach to early learning.
As a parenting coach and creator of the Principles Parenting™ framework and Courage Builders™ programme, Dawn empowers families and educators to support children’s social-emotional growth through reflective, respectful, and strength-based practices. She is deeply committed to building strong school–home partnerships and elevating early childhood education in Singapore through curriculum leadership, teacher development, and parent engagement.

Senior Kindergarten Years Leader
Ms Lin
Ms Lin brings years of experience in early childhood Chinese language education and holds a Degree in Early Childhood. She builds strong Chinese foundations through rich storytelling, joyful songs, and meaningful classroom interactions. Her calm presence and deep understanding of young learners help children develop a genuine love for the language.
Language Curriculum Specialist
Ms Yee
With a strong background in early literacy and language development, Ms Yee designs and leads our Chinese curriculum with intention and heart. She is passionate about helping children express themselves confidently and build solid foundations in reading, communication, and bilingual competence through purposeful, age-appropriate experiences. Beyond her classroom work, Ms Yee also mentors teachers across the school, guiding them in best practices and supporting the growth of Dreamkids’ language curriculum. Her dedication has shaped many young readers and strengthened our overall teaching team.

Ms Jeslyn
A highly experienced early childhood educator with a Degree in Early Childhood and a Diploma in Theatre Arts, Ms Jeslyn leads our Early Years team with warmth, clarity, and deep respect for how young children learn. She believes in the power of play, imagination, and thoughtful routines to build independence, curiosity, and social-emotional strength. Her creative background allows her to bring storytelling, drama, and expression into daily learning. Under her guidance, our youngest learners feel safe, supported, and joyful every day.
